We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who can administer the activities relating to the company payroll, benefits and employee leaves. Responsible for timely and accurate payroll data to include the complete processing of the timekeeping and payroll systems for employees.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and other departments to maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
• Process ADP payroll transactions on a bi-weekly basis by required deadlines .
• Review all payroll data prior to submission and immediately following the submission to ensure it is processed properly.
• Manage new hire onboarding, leave of absences, terminations, employee changes, timesheets, and wage garnishments in the HRIS.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.
• Ensure timely preparation and processing of payments to both vendors and third-party agencies.
• Act as liaison to employees to resolve payroll related inquiries.
• Assist with other daily operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Generate payroll related reports and maintain records related to payroll and timekeeping.

Requirements, Skills and Abilities

• Three years’ experience processing payroll in a multi-company environment
• Preferably candidates with accounts payable experience
• Ability to communicate in Chinese or Spanish is preferred
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations
• Experience with ADP payroll processing or other HRIS systems is preferred.
• Food/Restaurant Industry experience is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
